I arrived in Pushkar as a skeptic. Not hostile, not dismissive—just indifferent. I had heard stories about holy ghats, chants at dusk, and people who claimed to have spiritual experiences simply by sitting beside the lake. I didn’t believe them. I thought I’d visit the Brahma Temple, check the boxes, enjoy some Rajasthani food, and move on.
